Are the directions of images, forms, and media merely conditioned reflexes based on empirical experience? Through repeated associations with specific scenes or emotions, these cues might trigger certain responses even when detached from their original context—the direction of objects is a result of human being trained.

These responses may be highly universal, or perhaps deeply personal, as the “trainer” that shapes the individual is complex and multifaceted. It is a community woven from the individual’s experiences, objective environment, and even broader structures and rules, unique to each person—an intangible, formless, and invisible “Pavlov” present in every life.

The finite nature of human fate, like a delicate thread of silk, gently binds us all. Yet, have we ever tried to break free? When confronted with familiar images that invoke outdated emotions, only to feel a distinct sense of unusuality; when we find a small dog and a large, crystal-clear grape delivering serious political and philosophical speeches; when we experience the humor brought by the montage technique with echoes of ancient Babylonian styles… In that moment, Pavlov’s seemingly solid training outcomes begins to quietly unravel, and this is precisely the moment to break free from the grip.
